Hitachi Vantara announced it’s pending acquisition of REAN Cloud at the end of July. REAN Cloud, a portfolio company of BV Investment Partners, sought William Blair’s financial advice throughout the process due to its extensive knowledge and experience working with IT service companies. REAN Cloud, a leading cloud systems integrator, is one of the few managed service providers that are able to support the entire cloud services lifecycle and help clients operating in highly regulated environments. REAN Cloud also provides patent-pending solutions for hyperscale integrated infrastructure providers and platform service providers.
Hitachi Vantara, a subsidiary of Hitachi, provides data management solutions and other technology and data services. It helps data-driven leaders use the information to create better solutions to improve customer experiences. Hitachi’s acquisition of REAN Cloud will likely increase the adoption of enterprise cloud usage and improve the ability of companies to work with traditional applications as well as emerging technologies, such as artificial intelligence and machine learning.
