Mergers & Acquisitions magazine named Christina Bresani to their 2018 list of “Most Influential Women in M&A.” Christina serves as the head of William Blair’s financial services investment banking.
“It’s an honor to be included as part of this group of incredibly accomplished dealmakers,” said Bresani, who joined William Blair in 2017 from UBS. “These professionals are proof that although challenges remain in improving diversity in the industry, an increasing number of women across the M&A ecosystem are playing vital roles in the transactions that are defining their sectors.”
Christina has completed more than 70 transactions in her 20-year career. Most notably, she’s handled industry-shaping transactions including Chicago Board Options Exchange’s $3.4 billion acquisition of Bats Global Markets, TIAA’s $2.5 billion acquisition of EverBank Financial, and First Horizon National Corp.’s $2.2 billion acquisition of Capital Bank Financial Corp.
